Ittle dew 2 syncope ice2/28/2023 ![]() ![]() I highly recommend saving your Lockpicks for the 8th main dungeon and the final secret dungeonħ Outfits - you'll need to find at least one of these to be able to unlock the " Trendy" achievementġ4 Portal Worlds - you'll need to find at least one of these and collect the item inside for the " Another Place" achievement, but I highly recommend completing them all so you can fully upgrade Ittle. Here is what's available in the secret caves of the overworld:Ģ4 Secret Shards - you'll need to collect all of these to access all three secret dungeons to work toward unlocking the " Her Dreaded Highness" achievementĨ Boxes of Crayons - you'll need to collect all of these to unlock the " Crayon Pumping" achievementġ2 Lockpicks - these are not required but can make dungeons a little easier as they let you open locked doors instead of finding and collecting all of the keys. That being said, many puzzles will be much easier to solve as you get more weapons, and enemies will be easier to kill as you upgrade your weapons and items. This means that theoretically you can right off the bat travel around the entire map and fully explore every area and open all secret caves to collect the loot inside. Keep in mind as you try to open secret caves that if you're using other weapons, you're likely doing it incorrectly. Unlike other similar games, the secret caves (not to be confused with secret dungeons) have a unique quality too: Every secret cave in the overworld can be accessed and completed with only the use of your stick (or roll, meaning no other weapons or upgrades are required) Also, as you go to new overworld map areas for your next dungeon, I recommend fully exploring the overworld area for as many secret caves as you can find. ![]() In general, I'd recommend approaching the dungeons roughly in order, only because the enemies in the respective areas get tougher as you go and having upgrades helps a lot. You won't be able to access the eighth dungeon until you've collected the other seven raft pieces, so that dungeon must be last. For example, in my playthrough I ended up completing the dungeons in the following order: 1, 2, 4, 7, 3, 5, 6, 8. The main dungeons can be tackled in any order you prefer, instead of requiring items to access each dungeonĮach main dungeon can be completed with only your stick and the item found in that dungeon, meaning it's impossible to not be able to progress in a dungeon.īecause of these two points, there is no set way you must play through the game. Ittle Dew 2 is unique from most games of this nature for two main reasons: Step 1: Complete the 8 main dungeons and explore the overworld Simply stand behind the chest when you whack it to open it and the lid will hit you and unlock the achievement. In theory you could open every chest in the game and not get this achievement, so make sure to unlock this achievement somewhere along the way, if not with the first chest you come across. I'm not entirely sure if this achievement is theoretically missable or not, since it requires you to get hit with a chest that you open. ![]() Thankfully you can free roam after completing the game, so there really aren't any missable achievements. The achievements are all relatively simple to obtain, but they will require a heavy amount of exploration and puzzle solving to find all of the secret locations required to collect everything required for all of the achievements. Ittle Dew 2 employs a much less serious form of animation and story so that it can add some humor and focus more on gameplay, which definitely paid off. There is also much more action in this game compared to the original. For those that never played the first game in the series, Ittle Dew 2 is an isometric dungeon crawler (think original Legend of Zelda games) with a very heavy focus on puzzles. Welcome to Ittle Dew 2, the sequel to 2014's Ittle Dew, where you play as Ittle, who has crash landed on an island with her partner Tippsie and they both want to loot the island and solve its puzzles while finding raft pieces to leave the island. Unobtainable/glitched achievements: None ![]() Does difficulty affect achievements: No difficulty Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 Approximate amount of time to 1000 : 8-12 hours ![]()
